How Willow Works
The setup process is simple:
- Pair your Sensor and Hub with the Willow app for iOS and Android
- Pick a plant that needs a little love and insert the Sensor into the soil
- In the app, select your plant type or use our smart scanner to auto-identify your plant
- Name your plant and you’re good to grow! When it’s time for an action, you’ll get a notification

When deciding to buy my sensors and hub I was calculating the cost of these sensors vs a typical moisture metre and weighing up the cost vs benefits. When taking into consideration that these sensors measure moisture, humidity, light, AND temperature I was already convinced - but what really sold it was the integration with the hub, app, and consistent 24/7 monitoring of all parameters giving you a regularly updated score on how happy each plant is. Honestly it's a game changer. After using them for about 2 weeks now I no longer know what I would do without them! Making this change in spring I have already noticed that my plants are happier and putting out more and larger growth then ever. It even alerted me when my Tineke wasn't getting any light because a housemate closed the blinds on it!
I am a sucker for details also - so the beautiful packaging and the fact the hub uses USB, along with everything else, was enough to blow away my expectations.
10/10 I've already started raving about Willow to everyone I know and I'll be picking up more sensors for the rest of my collection soon enough!

Me and my girlfriend are absolutely in love with the Willow sensors! I have become a plant-whisperer. Set up was super easy - just pop the sensors in the soil of each plant and sync in the Willow app! The sensors keep tabs on all the stuff I was used to guess (incorrectly) on, like moisture, light etc. Plus, they actually look good and add to my plant decor vibe. I think I will be giving away some Willow sensors as Christmas presents, the perfect gift for serial plant-killers (like me)!
